Getting to Know One Another

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had had our old stove since 1992 and were somewhat concerned about new technology: glass top, push buttons instead of dials, induction cooking, change in general. As it turned out, our fears were unwarranted. The manual is well-written and very clear. The quick response when I change the temperature on the cooktop allows me to adjust as necessary. And it gave me an excuse to buy new cookware, rehoming most of my old pots and pans with a friend. My only problem is, because I'm short, I often inadvertently push an oven setting when I'm cooking on the cooktop! Onverall a great purchase.

Missing features, not as good as hoped

After hearing great things about Bosch, we got the benchmark 30" induction range and dishwasher. The first range turned on completely by itself, including the broil function. We requested immediate replacement of the unit which happened. The second range is just OK. It's missing features my very low end induction range had, like a delayed start on the oven, no connection to their wifi app, the power output of the burners is no stronger than the cheap model (have to cook an egg on 8). The metal around the oven case are not tight and there are gaps where it just doesn't fit, this was the same on both ovens. The buttons on the cooktop are so sensitive a slight hand over them changes cook temps unexpectedly and the placement of the burners is awkward, especially if 2 or 3 pots are cooking at the same time. I have to cook my bread 5 mins longer with the convection setting on to get the same doneness as our old oven. We really wanted to love this range but we don't. It does not seem to have the quality or functionality we expected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the range now for two months and I am very happy. It's fast, accurate and very easy to clean. Only thing I find somewhat negative is the the single control for all top induction elements is not great. The visible side panels are painted rather than stainless steel and detract from the overall appearance in a standard range opening.

Love it! Everything as advertised. Heats fast, evenly and well. So much better than the propane or electric ranges I've had. And clean up?! Wipe it down-- fast adn easy!

Love my new range

It took me a while to get used to induction as I had gas. The newer model now has more stovetop heat options to get my food cooking at the exact temp. And the oven roasts and bakes evenly, as always. I love this range - and if I have to move again, I'll rebuy it!!

Very happy with purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the benchmark induction slide in range as part of a kitchen renovation and have been really happy with it so far. There is a very brief learning curve with using induction but after a few uses it is very intuitive. I no longer worry about overflowing water from a boiling pot burning on cooktop. I like the easy oven controls and really like the telescoping oven rack. I haven't used all of the feature like the built in temperature probe but I'm excited to try them.
