Love the Bosch Induction Stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After only several weeks we have learned how to cook on an induction stove top. It was not difficult, we just had to start at a lower setting.
I do have an issue with the roll out rack. There are No instructions on how to remove this rack. I tried to reverse the steps for installing it that were in the owners manual, but it won't budge. Any suggestions?

Bosch Induction Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, we really like the induction range. The food cooks very quickly and the appliance has both a simple and elegant look. It is basically pretty easy to learn how to use the cooktop and the flex feature on the left side is a nice option to have. Those are the things that matter the most. I was thinking of giving it five stars but there are a few items that I think would improve the product so I'm giving it four stars instead. The first thing that stands out is that the top rear right corner of the cooktop has no heating capacity. Since I have a 30 inch cooktop, rather than a 36 inch cooktop, this seems like a loss of valuable heating space. My second comment goes to the fact that the warming drawer on the bottom of the oven is very sensitive to touch and often opens if the person cooking in advertently taps it with their foot. It should be a bit less sensitive so that the foot tap needs to be more deliberate in order to trigger the drawer opening. Lastly, the cooktop is more difficult to clean than had been described. Since it is flat and glass is easier than a gas stove in many respects. However, since it is a high gloss glass, it takes a lot of work and elbow grease in rubbing it to get rid of numerous streaking. In balance, I would certainly buy the product again and recommend it to others despite these relatively minor issues.

Exceeds Expectations

Know induction - this is really good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For those reviewing with bad comments possibly their first induction. This surpasses the GE cafe. Bosch decided to make the induction work and not have all kinds of other functions that don't work anyway. The additional hang over is very smart to not have food stuck. Sure there may be some functions that I would have done a bit differently but the main point is it works great. Induction is newer for a lot of people but this range works. I mean you want to boil water fast? It's literally seconds you start seeing the water getting the heat to start boiling. My experience with GE cafe induction was constant service and thousands of pots that should have work that didn't. Constant burner won't come on due to who knows. There are some noises with induction. That's just how it is. I find this way lower and less. My dogs were even stressed by the cafe noise.

Love It!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No way to say enough good things about this range. It looks great, very sleek and modern with no knobs, and performs great. The top is a breeze to clean and the oven extension rack is wonderful. I often use the two timers to remind me to check on how things are baking. The toe-touch warmer oven is a nice touch. The side lips over the counter enhance the appearance and prevent the crumbs, spills and sloshes from going down the side of the cabinet. This is my first induction range and it couldn't be easier. It is more responsive than my previous electric ranges and doesn't heat up my kitchen as much. Definitely a good buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had this range installed for a couple of months but I like the induction cooktop especially the flex zone. Controls are very easy to use. The oven heats up quickly and the settings menu enables preferences to silence the beeps, change display brightness and even turn off the clock display. When researching this unit there was erroneous on line information (not Bosch source material) that indicated it had shut off timers for each individual hob but it does not. I wish it did as I would find that to be useful- but also understand that could be a recipe for trouble for some users leaving cooking pots unattended. All in all I'm glad I changed from gas to induction and trust Bosch quality.
