Great purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched from gas to this Induction Range about 4 weeks ago and I really love it. It's about as close to gas as you can imagine. It hasn't taken me much time to adjust and had I read the instruction manual which gives suggested cooking temps, it would even have been faster! I love the warming drawer to warm up my dinner plates and keep things warm. I highly recommend.

seamless transition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of the cooktop really stood out when comparing brands in a showroom. Initially, Bosch was not on our list but it was obviously superior to competitors because of its streamlined, easy to clean cooking surface. A very important aspect when you do as much cooking as I do.
It's been natural gas or propane stoves most of my adult life but the advantages of induction are very convincing and the switch couldn't have been easier.
A few features of the oven that impressed were the integrated handles in the racks, the sturdiness (no worries about overloading them) and the smooth operation, the multi-rack convection is a nice feature that has turned out to be surprisingly useful.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing induction tech; good design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used several induction tops, so this review is not based on migrating from another source of fuel to induction, but comparing induction units to other induction units.
The induction tech in this is incredible; I've never experienced such even and predictable heat with such precise heat control. This range has never failed to recognize my cookware, which has been an issue with some of my pieces in the past despite being induction compatible. I have also noticed, too, that on other ranges, things were easy to have boil over and I was having to constantly adjust the temperature. With the Bosch unit, the number you set the burner at is the number you can keep it until you, as the user, wants to make a change.
The second is the oven. Holy grail of ovens. The first time I used it, I thought it was broken because a) I felt no heat from the oven while in use and b) there was no smell of anything cooking. Turns out that the seal is just so effective that it seemed that way, but it was working just fine. Oven temperature is precise with heat spread being even.
I think where there could be improvements, especially at this pricepoint, is with the design of the unit. The bottom warning draw accidentally get pushed open often, which is a small gripe but there nonetheless. I also think that the burner placement is not as optimal as it could be, but maybe I haven't done enough configurations yet to understand the reason for the setup. Lastly, on the second day of use, I was moving a pan on the glass top and now there are two scratches on the glasstop. I'm relatively meticulous about keeping the top clean and free of things that can damage it. My best guess is that I salted something in a pan, a few granules of salt fell onto the rangetop, and the sliding motion of the pan over the salt scratched it. I love the aesthetic of a glass cooktop, but am surprised that such minimal contact/friction could cause damage. I know to be even more careful moving forward, but feel as though it should be more rugged.
Otherwise, as an avid home cook, I absolutely adore this range and cannot tell you the difference in performance compared to an LG or Samsung. The price difference, to me, is worth it.

First time using induction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very reluctant to switch from gas to induction, but after reading reviews and hearing first hand recommendations I decided to take the plunge. No regrets at all! I love the speed and efficiency with which my stovetop cooks. The best part about it, though, is the ease of cleaning and the sleek look. No more removing grates and trying to keep the stovetop clean. The surface is super easy to clean. Another favorite feature I love is the oven warming drawer. I'm able to prove bread dough in half the amount of time. I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to switch to induction cooking.

Great range, but has been glitchy so far...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Good: Bosch's induction components are among the best in the business. This is a powerhouse of an induction range, and you will love the Speed Boost and Fast Preheat features. The convection oven and other various oven modes all work spectacularly. I particularly like the flex area where I can set up two temperatures on a carbon steel griddle. When the oven/range are working, they work very well.
The Bad: In the 1-month we've had it, we have had to reset it (by toggling the breaker panel) since the oven fan was still stuck on hours after it had cooled (yes, we know it runs after the oven is hot, but we woke up in the middle of the night to it still running with no way to stop it). Additionally, the touch panel has also glitched multiple times becoming unusable and beeping constantly with error codes. Turning off the power for 30-seconds has always fixed the problem, but to me this has been unacceptable for 30 days of ownership and such a high price tag. Should it happen again anytime soon we will be making a warranty claim. I understand that these are easily replacable sensors or components, and that these are always a failure point for modern applicances, but I expected a lot more reliability thus far and not to have to treat it like my internet router.
