Great range

Two months into ownership with my first induction range. It's been a quick learning curve getting used to induction but now that I have it's super responsive (like gas).
Also is taking a bit of getting used to with the touch panel instead of knobs, but the clean look of it in the kitchen makes up for any learning curve.

Elegant looking, elegant cooking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very pleased with how my induction cooktop heats up quickly and the heat is extremely responsive to the control settings. Boiling water happens so quickly! The flex settings are not intuitive and I still haven't used that side of the cooktop, seem difficult to learn. I am very pleased with the convection oven performance!

Bosch Induction Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice range, with nice touches like the warming drawer and and silent close oven. However, I have three pretty important criticisms. The glass top, for some reason, is extremely difficult to clean. I've followed all the instructions to a tee, yet smudge marks remain. Also, the setting panel is difficult to read as it does not tilt up. And lastly, the "bridge" burner, which is useless as a bridge unless you are using a rectangular pot or pan. Very misleading!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love Induction!

Nice stove!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchaced this ro replace a GE gas range. We love the induction cooktop, it is even mopre responsive than gas. The oven is great too. The thing that impresses us the most is how little heat the range throws off. We are really happy!

Some good, some not so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm still getting used to my magnetic induction stove. Overall, I'm happy with it. It's very fast! Cleanup is a breeze.
Some things I don't like:
The spongy foam between the glass and the oven vent cover in the back absorbs water (I had a boil-over). think is should be flexible plastic instead, not porous.

The other thing I don't like is the timer bell is too quiet, even at top volume and it stops ringing when I haven't yet turned it off. I have to use my phone for a timer now.
Last thing, on the bridge element, if I only have one pot on there, I wish I could choose using two lines instead of three when I want to use a smaller pot.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better than gas!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old non induction electric range quit one day and the price to repair was more than the range was worth. I had already been shopping the induction offerings and Bosch was the top of the list. I have not been disappointed!
I had already begun swapping out my old cookware for induction ready cookware and I hit the ground running. What a joy to bring a sauce to boil and then get instant response when lowering the temperature to simmer. Just like the gas stove I had years ago. The beauty of induction is that there is no need to eye ball the flame for temperature, just select the number you used the last time you made your favorite omelet, no guess work.
The range top is well laid out and the auto-sense pot feature is very handy when using the bridge as is the flex setting. Graphics and temperature settings are clear and intuitive.
The oven with its telescoping rack in addition to 2 other standard racks is a big plus. Also the warming drawer is handy when trying to time a diverse dinner to hit the table with everything hot.
The range height was one of the big purchase points for me since our counters are 35 3/8''. I was able to conceal the slight 1/4'' difference with a standard range kit for trimming out ranges. Has that built in look I love.
Bottom line is I couldn't be happier with the design and quality. Sorry gas stove, I'm never going back even if I had gas as an option!

Silent Perfection

When my gas range from a different manufacturer was recalled, I went in search of a new range and decided on induction because of its lack of fumes and precision range top cooking. I also wanted to find a new one that was quiet during oven bakes - my old one had a ridiculously loud cooling fan (something I didn't find out until my first time baking). This Bosch Induction Oven fits the bill perfectly ! The range top looks beautiful and works like a charm. The smart placement of the burners offers flexibility and ease of use. When baking, the cooling fan is barely audible. The pull out grate, temperature probe, and the extra digital features are icing on the cake! Well done Bosch.
