broiler does not work

Tried the broiler for the first time, 6 weeks after purchase, and it does not work. I purchased this pricey Bosch to avoid these kinds of problems. VERY DISAPPOINTING!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am in love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Previous to this purchase I used an electric ceramic top stove due to lack of natural gas in my area. Decided to try the induction as an alternative. WOW better than I imagined. Yes, I had to purchase new pots and pans. The instantaneous stove top heat and immediate, finite control of the temperature is amazing. It is a little challenging getting used to adjusting without seeing a flame but I am getting better. I have not had an issue with the buzzing sounds I have read some people experience. The oven temperature probe is great but I tend to miss the fact that it has turned off the oven and so have had some over cooked experiences. I do wish the alerts were louder. The display panel for the stove and the warming drawer are really discreet. While it looks nice and sleek - It is hard to tell for example, when the warming drawer is on. The first day after playing with buttons we couldn't figure out what the tiny red line was - for over 24 hours!! Duh, it was the light telling us the warming drawer was on. The warming drawer (one of those things you don't know you need until you have one - I used mine frequently on my previous stove so it was a must have for this purchase) is pretty shallow. The oven takes a long time (15 - 20 min) to come up to temp regardless of convection or regular setting. The kitchen timer and other alerts are fairly quiet. While you have the option of having the kitchen timer setting on high (which I think I have it set on?) is not very loud. Difficult to hear if you are a room or two away. Overall this is a fabulous stove HIGHLY reccomend it both functionally and visually it is fabulous!

Induction system performs very well. Oven preheating is slow even on fast cycle. Great appearance.

Best range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range was my second choice (the first one had too long of a delivery time) but I'm soooo glad I got this one. The induction stove is super quick, easy to use and safe. The oven has a lot of functions which I admit I have not all explored yet, but so far I've had great results for my cakes, pies, breads, pizzas, meat, veggies and fish. The warming drawer is very convenient, as are some off the specialty functions such as fast preheat and proofing.
While it's not cheap, I found it worth the investment for anyone who likes to cook often and fast. And its easy to clean!

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was worried about going from cooking on gas to using induction but the Bosch induction range is just awesome. I love how the glass goes over the counter
The one thing I wish is that the back didn't go in about 1/2 inch where the glass ends as that is a small gap dirt can fall through from the countertop.

Love this Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this range for about 2 months. We love this range. Love the fact there are no knobs. If you remove the pan from the burner marking, it shuts off as it is induction. Also like the fact that the glass cools quickly as the pan is what is heating, not the glass it self. Highly recommend induction ... fast and safe.

Bosch 800 range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I shopped forever before deciding on the Bosch 800 series range. I love the induction cooktop. It's easy to use and I love the quick heating and clean cooktop. The oven is OK, but I am really struggling with baking with the convection setting. I have used several convection ovens in the past without problems, but the Bosch convection keeps blowing the tops of my cakes and cupcakes as they rise creating ski slope tops. Rotating during baking results in collapsed cakes. Multilayer convection didn't work well, either. I am back to baking on the regular bake setting for cakes and cupcakes. So disappointing.
