Easy to use and works as advertised but feels chea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed the opportunity to test this product and have both positive and negative opinions on it. it is pretty lightweight (under 2 pounds not including base). This would be nice for someone who has trouble lifting heavy appliances. It could also be a downside as I have doubts how long the product will hold up. It is slightly hard to see the fill line, I would prefer a design with a clear side instead of awkwardly looking inside. It is slightly difficult to keep the cord flat while in use. The on/off button is flimsy and feels cheap; it feels like it could break without excessive pressure. While pouring I did not trust the lid to stay on securely so I held the lid with one hand while poring with the other. Slightly difficult with a full pot. The inside has markers (which are removable) for measuring 1, 2 and 3 cups if needing precise measuring. It is not super loud. The button automatically flips off once the water starts to boil. It took just under 7 minutes for a pot full of cold water to reach a full boil. It had a typical strong factory odor; after hand washing with soap and water it took 2 cycles to go away. Overall this product does what it advertised. Unfortunately I would expect better from this brand. It feels cheap and I don’t think it will stand up to daily use after a few months.

Super convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This black and decker electric is super convenient and works so fast. I took this on a trip and it was perfect to have to heat up some water for quick meals. I was so surprised how fasted it got the water to boiling.

Boiling water without the hard work!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This electric kettle is a gem! The water boils fast and it works well! The kettle itself is cordless but the base plugs into an outlet, which is nice. Overall, cups of tea are much easier now and i highly reccomend this!

Wonderful product

Everyday kettle!

The auto shut off is amazing, I do not have to wait to turn it off. It is lightweight and the spout pours without dripping. Its a must have for your kitchen.

Almost Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This electric kettle by Black + Decker is so close to perfect. The size is big enough to make hot water for a family. The filter included is a nice touch. It’s sleek and fits in with the rest of my appliances in my kitchen. The auto shut off is also a great safety feature. The lid fully detaches which could be an issue if you’re prone to loosing things like me. The main thing I disliked was the plastic piece inside that shows you how many cups it makes. An engraved marker would have been better. The idea of having plastic inside boiling water is a turn off. Overall, if the plastic indicator would be removable it would make this kettle perfect!
