Not easy clean

Easy clean drip pan, wrong. Should say anything BUT easy! Make a good fitting disposable liner for god sake.

Hello, and thank you for reviewing the Timberline XL. Although it may take a little getting used to, the EZ Clean Drip Tray has a simpler, quicker approach to maintenance than traditional grill trays. After most cooks, you can typically just scape all the leftovers into the grease and ash keg with a non-metal scraper. If there is a lot of dust/ash, you can use a nylon bristle brush to sweep it into the keg, which can also be done for the shield below the tray. When it is time for a more thorough cleaning, the tray, as well as the interior and exterior of the grill, can be wiped down using the same Traeger All-Natural Cleaner as any of our other models. LOVE MY TIMBERLINE XL!

I have had my Timberline XL for over a year now. I LOVE IT! BRISKET, RIBS, CHICKEN, PORK BUTT ALL CAME OUT EXEPTIONAL!

Great smoke flavor and love the wireless probe but

I bought the Timberline XL for Christmas and have been using it non stop. Love the smoke flavor that my Pro 780 couldn't deliver. My only complaints are that the super smoke uses a lot more pellets and it would be nice to have the wireless probes connect to the MEATER app as well.. Decided to upgrade because I wanted the built-in Traeger for my outdoor kitchen.

Bought in Vegas at Cowboy Christmas. Was delivered before we arrived back home from the rodeo! We used Christmas smoking a large turkey and over 30 lbs of prime rib and everything turned out phanominal !!

Under Delivers On So Many Leveks

I’m not sure it even deserves 2 stars. From the start there’s nothing I’ve enjoyed about owning this grill. The delivery was botched at best, without ringing my doorbell they left the 500lbs package, on a pallet in the street in front of my house, last I knew “curb side”was not in the middle of a residential street. Neither the Bluetooth or wired thermometers worked. After a lengthy text series with Traeger “customer service” they said I need to be in front of the grill to to do the last tests before they could send out replacements. Those test were to wiggle the f@#%ing cables. Received replacements that worked for the wired, zero correspondence from Traeger in the Bluetooth ones that need to be replaced, to be honest they are pretty low end.
If you have time to deal with the nonsense and are a fan of low quality this is definitely the pellet grill for you

While using the text option to contact customer service can be convenient, sometimes it may be easier when trying to diagnose an issue with an agent on the phone instead. This not only allows for a more direct conversation, but the camera on your cellphone can also be used for a live video feed so that you can both look over everything together. As for the replacements, it sounds like you may have not received wireless probes yet. If this is the case, please reach out to Traeger support so that we can check the status of the shipment and possibly send another set, if needed. Agents are available at 1-800-TRAEGER, seven days a week, up until 10:00 PM Mountain Time.

Best Traeger Grill Yet!

This is my third Traeger grill I have purchased. Two smaller grills for camping and tailgating and now the Timberline XL. I was at the Los Angeles County Fair when I saw the XL and just fell in love with it. My sister and I demolished a perfectly good stainless steel built in propane grill in my bbq island to make room for this grill. It took us around 3 hours to demo including removing the stacked stone. Next came assembly of the XL and wow. We both agreed that this has to be the best quality product ever purchased. I have assembled just about everything you can imagine over the years (just about 60 yrs old). So easy to assemble and everything was well made and thought out. Took us around 1 1/2 hours to assemble. Highly recommend the XL. Love Traeger products.

I own 2 Traeger Timberline XL grills. I love the way they cook and smoke food with ease in operation and cleanup. The reason for not giving a 5 star review is that when the president and CEO announced to timber line XL he said it would be coming out with a Modfire pizza oven accessory. 2 years plus later no such item exists. Found out it never will. They should never advertise something they can’t follow up on or produce before announcing it to the public.
