Well made. Easy to put together with decent provided tools. Loved the little things like the cardboard fort, stickers, and six pack directions. Also the attention to detail when fabricating made it easy to assemble. So far loving my investment.

Under Delivers On So Many Leveks

I’m not sure it even deserves 2 stars. From the start there’s nothing I’ve enjoyed about owning this grill. The delivery was botched at best, without ringing my doorbell they left the 500lbs package, on a pallet in the street in front of my house, last I knew “curb side”was not in the middle of a residential street. Neither the Bluetooth or wired thermometers worked. After a lengthy text series with Traeger “customer service” they said I need to be in front of the grill to to do the last tests before they could send out replacements. Those test were to wiggle the f@#%ing cables. Received replacements that worked for the wired, zero correspondence from Traeger in the Bluetooth ones that need to be replaced, to be honest they are pretty low end.
If you have time to deal with the nonsense and are a fan of low quality this is definitely the pellet grill for you

While using the text option to contact customer service can be convenient, sometimes it may be easier when trying to diagnose an issue with an agent on the phone instead. This not only allows for a more direct conversation, but the camera on your cellphone can also be used for a live video feed so that you can both look over everything together. As for the replacements, it sounds like you may have not received wireless probes yet. If this is the case, please reach out to Traeger support so that we can check the status of the shipment and possibly send another set, if needed. Agents are available at 1-800-TRAEGER, seven days a week, up until 10:00 PM Mountain Time.

LOVE MY TIMBERLINE XL!

I have had my Timberline XL for over a year now. I LOVE IT! BRISKET, RIBS, CHICKEN, PORK BUTT ALL CAME OUT EXEPTIONAL!

My unit came damaged even though the box was perfect. Traeger sent me out the new part. After 2 uses, the unit stopped working. Spent hours with the support line for them to tell me it was a bad wire harness. Doubt it’s a wire harness when this thing has 4 mother boards on it.

Hello, and thanks for sharing your feedback on the Timberline XL. There is actually only one motherboard on this grill, though sometimes the power supply can be mistaken for a second one. Other than that, it is mostly just the usual pellet grill components, e.g., auger motor, controller, induction fan, etc. And while a wire harness may not seem like much, replacing one can often be all that is needed to correct many issues, especially those that were diagnosed by one of our agents.
