The Timberline XL is compatible with the Meater Plus Bluetooth probes and you can have more access to more than just one probe when cooking. You can monitor this straight from an app on your phone, just like the grill’s WiFire. You can achieve the extra smokey flavor by using the low and slow method, meaning lowering the temperature for a longer period of time or placing your food on the upper rack instead of the lower rack. As long as you are not attaching anything to the grill, as modifying it in any way will void your 10-year warranty, using a smoke tube is based on personal opinion and tastes desired. At this time, we do not have any details on additional smoke tubes in manufacturing but watch our website and social media for updates when new products are released.
