Could have burnt our house down!

Set up our new Traeger Timberline XL yesterday, went to use it today and it caught fire!!! Thankfully, we were home before it burnt our house down. I will never trust this piece of junk ever!

Hi, and thank you for reviewing the Timberline XL. Fires for new grills, regardless of the model, rarely happen and are generally not related to the grill's functionality. Typically, these only occur after the grill has been used a while, and grease has been allowed to buildup, which may eventually ignite. However, for brand new touchscreen models, it is usually due to either using a liner/foil on the drip tray, or in this case, a firepot not being fully installed into its position.
