the wifi setup is terrible, you need to start over setup from time to time. huge delay between grill and app.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice design. Well thought out. But does not hold temp well, set to 350 the temp will range from 320 to 360. My old Temberline 1300 did much better.

Not worth it

The motherboard went out completely on the first use and rather than replace the lemon, I had to wait months to have the motherboard replaced. In addition, these are super top heavy. Mine has blown over 3 times in sub 30 mph winds and severely damaged the metal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The controller is central to ignition, temperature control, and safety, so failure there will prevent proper use.
