I had a Timberline 850 for 6 months and loved that grill to death. I have only done 5 cooks on this new grill, but while getting to know this grill, i am loving it, especially the new features with this giant grill. It is really way to big for just my wife and me, but i am looking forward to the first big party where i am sure its huge capacity will shine.

My Timberline XL automatically gives me bragging rights for the best smoked meats and cheeses in the neighborhood. The "super smoke" option is an incredible setting that doubles my smoke ring and the flavor of the tasty morsels on my Traeger.

We bought the timberline XL about a month ago and have been very happy with the results we are getting. It is especially nice when you just don’t have time to sit and take care of the stick burner smoker that we also use.
We also like the availability of information available from the other users.
