What a beast!

I've had my new Timberline XL for a few months now and it's awesome. I held of on getting a smoker for a long time and finally took the plunge with this beast. Not for the faint of heart at this price point, but worth it when compared to other top of the line options.
It cooks great. What can I say. With the app, anyone can look good. Easliy cooks meals for 40-50 people without shuffling things around. All the accessories are well made and integrate perfectly.
My only criticism is the wifi sometime loses connectivity and I know it's not the signal. It also only runs on the 2.4GHz frequency, so I had to supplement with a cheap router almost exclusively for the grill since my home network (and many other's) is 5GHz and cannot run on 2.4 with a wifi mesh.
All told, I am cosplaying Tim the Toolman with this thing, and loving every minute.

Haven't been able to use it yet. Waiting on a second part to come in so it will work properly. Was told by a Traeger representative when I bought it that it would arrive assembled, all but the side burner. Not the case. However, when it finally starts to work correctly I'm sure my rating will improve. Until then, this is where we are at.

I own 2 Traeger Timberline XL grills. I love the way they cook and smoke food with ease in operation and cleanup. The reason for not giving a 5 star review is that when the president and CEO announced to timber line XL he said it would be coming out with a Modfire pizza oven accessory. 2 years plus later no such item exists. Found out it never will. They should never advertise something they can’t follow up on or produce before announcing it to the public.

Wanted a Traeger for a long time, and finally made the purchase. Wanted the Ironwood, but ceramic coated grills is a complete show stopper for me. So I bit the bullet, spent the extra money and went for the Timberline. So far no regrets. Ribs, brisket, wings, chops, and burgers so far have all been a smash hit with everyone!!! I’ll likely never use the side hot plate and it cost a little more than I wanted to spend, simply because I will only buy bbqs, and grills with stainless grills or I wont buy it at all, but in the end, the product it produces is really astounding and I am flat out very impressed!!! This pellet grill is really great and I would buy another one day when this one wears out.

This is my 6th grill (3rd pellet grill) but first Traeger and well worth the purchase. The grill only takes about 20 minutes to get to a stable temperature, unlike my previous grill which needed an hour to "settle" down to a steady temp. It is well insulated and was not affected by wind. I love that there is no pellet dust or ash on my food now, its pretty much contained in the lower part of the grill where it should be. The controls are very easy to use and I can adjust the temperature from my phone....WHAT?! I also like the built-in thermometer connectors (I don't use nor trust the wireless MEATER due to a previous bad experience with that product). The grill easy to disassemble for cleaning. I kinda wish I purchased this a few years ago but on the flip side, I can appreciate how good I have it now. :)

Super nice smoker and space for a huge party meal

This smoker is so large it easily fits anything I want to cook, even when I've had guests over. The induction cooktop is very nice too as I can easily sear meets that I want to, post smoke, or cook up some tasty green beans to complement the main dish. It is the first time I've used an induction cooktop and was amazed at how quickly it heated, and how well it worked. The overall polish on this smoker is spot on too - the bamboo cooking board and shelves added a nice touch (however, if you live in a very humid area be sure to not let them sit in the rain as they'll mold up quickly. Mine did so I needed to give them a sanding and refinish (just cutting board oil).
