The XL is my fourth Traeger and without a doubt the best. I have handed down two Traegers to my son and my son-in-law and sold one. The XL fixed every issue I have with all of my prior Traegers. The XL reaches temp quickly, heats more evenly, maintains temp much better, 4 connected probes are not perfect but close enough ,(I still use instant read thermometers to verify), grease and ashes are collected conveniently and the pellet bin is easily emptied for changing pellets. AND the induction plate is an amazing plus for many uses.

I bought this grill a little over a month ago. It works better than any other smoker I have used. If you do the software update right off the bat, you won't have any issues. I smoked some brisket this last weekend and give it a perfect smoke ring.I had a gen 1 timberline before with the super smoke button. The Timberline XL is a far superior pellet smoker.I love it. I grilled some steaks on it too, Turned out great. You can't go wrong with this.

Definitely lot’s more grille than 1st gen! Love ❤️ the new graphical display controller display! Wireless temperature probes nice touch! Seems to get to running temperature a lot better! Just Love the lower storage copayment! The electric stove on the side just completes the grille looking forward to using it!

Inside of lid separated

Inside of lid separated also leaks smoke from lid for a a grill coasting 4k it is not worth the money have had nothing but issues with this grill

Though it came pretty much put together. I actually enjoyed installing the rest of the parts for our Timberline XL unit. This smoker was very well designed and thought out. Make sure you have two people to lay it on its side to install the wheels though.
Did the one hour cook off for metal smell. No problem.
1st trail, a turkey breast. It came out great.
So many recipes with the Trager app. Traeger Jack Cheeseburgers are next.
We love this TimberLine XL. Neighbors come over and we just all stare at it! This smoker is gorgeous.

Bad support from Bahamas

Bought this a month ago in Florida and had a friend bring it to our small beach house in Bahamas. I put it together without much difficulty, added pellets, primed suger, filled hot rod container half way and ingited. Within 20 seconds I received an Igniter Disconnect notice. Brand new crushing. Took it apart, reconnected, and same indication. All software is up to date. Unfortunately, US does not take my call because 1-800 number. Called the UK and they referred me to US. Still no support help. Just ordered 2 new Amazon Hot Rods and trying to get them to Bahamas. Ughh!

The Bahamas are not the US, transporting the grill from the country of origin to another voids the warranty. Ignitor disconnected means The Ignitor is disconnected from the controller or is broken. We would want to disconnect the Ignitor from the controller, then reconnect the Ignitor, turn the grill on, and see if the error still populates.
