[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, less than a month later, the fridge is working fine and I hope it lasts as long as the 60s model in the garage. I like the space layout in this new one, especially the large door compartments. And,the drawers slide in and out easily. I'm still trying to get the freezer adjusted just right though because some days the ice cream is soft. I adjust and next day it is too hard. I adjust again and it is too soft. ??

How can a refrigerator make one so happy?!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I smile every time i go into the kitchen and see my new Frigidaire refrigerator! I had a funky one from another famous brand that didn’t keep anything cold enough, even on the highest setting (and it was only 2 years old!) before i gave in and bought this fabulous Frigidaire!! Now my produce stays fresh and cold! I couldn’t be happier with a major appliance…and it’s esthetically pleasing too!

Decent, not great

This top freezer refrigerator has following (+)'s and (-)'s according my personal preferences:
1- Quiet (+);
2- Covered coils on the back (+). My previous fridge had ugly space taking coils on the back;
3- No external door handles (-). I prefer old-fashioned external handle(s);
4- Glass shelves (+/-). I am always concerned of possible overload and thus, cracks;
5- Temp. control (+/-). At recommended setting (Mid) fridge cools too much. Must reset at almost Min to my preference.
6- Glass shelves do not have sub-compartments (-). In other words, if you have deli items, fish, small delicate objects you want to separate from the jars and large items- there are none.
7- Door shelves design (-). Not adjustable and if you want to store tall bottles, they can only go on the glass shelf among other items.
8- Fruits/ Vegetables compartments (+). Spacious.

Still leaking on floor

We were hoping it was just a fluke, but this fridge with no condenser fan doesn't evaporate the water from the defrost drip pan fast enough, and it keeps overflowing onto the floor about every five days. When it does, I siphon the defrost drip pan out, but about five or six days later, full to overflowing.
