Freezer temp fluctuates

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit as a spare used for additional food storage. So it mostly sits idles with the doors closed. My freezer tempurature fluctuates significantly between +10 and -20 degrees. Is this normal and expected? I thought freezer temps were supposed to be around 0 degrees.
