I bought this as me and my family wanted to have more freezer space than just the fridge freezer. So that we can make freezer meals and buy more things to keep on hand in the freezer as we have winter coming. I can't wait to fill up the freezer. This freezer is the perfect size love that it has an alarm and also has turbo freeze which is such a great feature.. So happy with my purchase.

Just got my freezer today and it's exactly what I wanted. Large, but not huge... just perfect for storing all my frozen foods that simply don't fit in the slim freezer in my new side by side refrigerator. I did read all the reviews and agree that you really do need both hands to open the door - one to pull open the door and the other to hold onto the side of the freezer to keep the whole thing from moving towards you as you pull. But, unlike others, I don't find this to be a negative - I LIKE that the door seals nice and tight. I am going to have to order an additional wire shelf and an additional door shelf - you really do need one more of each to maximize use of the space.

I first purchased a chest freezer that was too small and new upright freezer is much better

I like the way the shelfs are adjustable. The bottom drawer when pushed all the way in is still accessible without pulling the drawer out. It is a good size for the price of it.
