Firm mattress, but not really cooling

Our previous mattress, Select Comfort, was quite old and had begun to sag. We decided to try the Casper Hybrid mattress based upon the recommendation of a friend. The box was pretty heavy. It was interesting getting the mattress to unfurl. We allowed it to expand for 3 days while we slept in the spare bedroom. The mattress had an odor, but not overpowering.
My husband remarked that the mattress is firm and he was sleeping "on" it and not "in" it. As I wrote, our previous mattress sagged. What we have not found is any cooling from the mattress. I'm usually comfortable in bed, but my husband is a "hot" sleeper.
I would recommend this mattress.
