Helps with low back problems

I purchased a king-size Casper Hybrid original 5 months ago (May 2023) and it has been so good for my back. I have had degenerative disc disease and osteoarthritis for 17 years and my back sometimes just gives out. Sometimes it is disc pain, sometimes it's the arthritis, and often it's a muscle spasm that lasts for days or weeks. It's extremely debilitating. This is the first time I've experienced a mattress actually reversing the issue for me. I think it's because this particular mattress has the right combination of "give" and flexibility but also support. It's supportive without being hard and I can shift around on it without sinking in. At first I was worried that I had chosen something that was too rubbery but it was comfortable overall so I had no complaints during the 90 day trial period. About 4 months in, I went on a road trip that just did my back in and when I got back home, I found that this mattress was actually helping my back heal. Now I find that whenever my back is stressed in any way, lying down on this mattress soothes it. I don't have to necessarily go to other remedies such as muscle rubs, painkillers, stretches, walks, etc. all the time. My previous mattresses were not like that. One was a memory foam one that was very firm even with a 2" pad on it, and another was a padded traditional spring mattress also with a 2" foam on it. Glad my city happened to have a Casper store and I could try out various mattresses there. It's the 90 day return policy that made me decide to take a leap of faith on the Casper Original Hybrid mattress and I'm so glad I did.

My First Week with the Original

Never Buying Anything Else!

After several days of searching we finally decided to give the Casper mattress a try and we’re never buying anything else. It’s so comfy!
