We also bought the frame and mattress pad. All went well and the instructions were good. The packaging was important to us getting it in the room at the top of a narrow hallway.
Although the first night of sleeping on it was mediocre, subsequent nights were much better.
Yes, I would recommend this mattress to friends and family. Since it is in a guest room, several others will get a chance to check it out.

Pleasantly surprised

My husband is a back/side sleeper and I am a stomach sleeper, so we usually prefer different mattress types. But we soon discovered that you can sleep on this mattress comfortably no matter what position. We have slept so well every night since we got it. I no longer wake up several times per night or when my husband gets up early for work. We upgraded from a queen to a king and we could not be happier!
