Unboxing the mattress was simple and there was no odor like some people have experienced with foam mattresses. My SO and I have completely opposite preferences when it comes to mattress firmness but we both have been happy and comfortable. My previous mattress was a cheap foam mattress and the Casper is definitely worth the upgrade.

But after a few days I can’t even see my self sleeping on anything different then this Casper mattress it’s a game changer for me and my wife we sleep soundly thru the night with out any issues. It’s the best bed out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi, we saw Casper reviewed some time back by Consumer Reports and its "FIRM' mattress was highly rated. We searched and search for one that was indicated as "firm" but finally settled on one that appeared as if it would be extra firm. We recently received it and it is much softer than we had expected, but so far it does not seem to be aggravating my back problem. However, the odor persists. My husband doesn't smell it at all but I do, so we sleep with all the windows open. I will get back to you when we've slept on the bed for at least two months.

The unboxing experience was not my favorite. It was hard to get up the stairs because it was heavy and it was covered with a ton of plastic. My husband and I did tackle it together within about an hour. The mattress itself is comfy. Firm yet soft on top. Not the most comfortable mattress ever, but it's comfortable enough and works.
