Bad for Small Curvy Women

The effect of this mattress with the firmer material at the center was that my hips didn't sink in at all, creating pressure there and leaving my waist unsupported. The softer material at the ends then allowed my shoulder to sink in somewhat. The overall effect was that I was lying on a hard surface sloped downwards. This unpleasant effect was compounded by the pillow (my normal one that I like a lot) now being too tall and propping my neck up at a bizarre angle compared to the soft shoulder material.
My first night on the mattress I could barely get to sleep and woke up a few hours later in terrible pain. I had to move to the couch. Night 2 I lied down for a minute and tried to roll up a blanket under my waist to give it some support, which helped, but the issue with the shoulders and neck was still too much.
I think this mattress was designed with a man's body in mind; heavier to sink into the dense foam, broader shoulders needing extra give there, but firmer material to support hips that are narrower and not significantly wider than the waist.

I would marry this mattress if I could

I am an awful sleeper. It takes me forever to fall asleep, and I usually wake up groggy and achy. But this mattress CHANGED EVERYTHING. I didn’t realize how crappy my mattress was until I slept on a Casper original mattress. It is AMAZING. I fall asleep super fast, and I’m going to bed earlier because, well, I can’t wait to sink into a fluffy cloud of amazingness. My sleep has been deep, and lasts longer. I can fall asleep after waking up in the middle of the night. When I do (reluctantly) wake up, I feel super refreshed. A good mattress (a.k.a a Casper mattress) is an EXTREMELY worthwhile investment. But honestly, the price is amazing for the better sleep, and therefore better life you will have.

So far so great

I was hesitant to purchase a foam mattress, let alone a foam mattress that I've never felt before. I have been pleasantly surprised so far. It is firmer than I thought and it does a great job at dissipating heat. If it holds up to 5-7 years I will definitely purchase another one.

So impressed and unexpected

I didn't really have any major problems with my old mattress. It was alright with a good memory foam topper, but I knew it was time for a new one in general. I wanted to upgrade to a memory foam mattress, and I'm so glad I found Casper. I was never the best sleeper and I now realize it was probably because of my old mattress. With Casper I just knock out with no problem. Even if I don't get a ton of sleep or something happens to wake me up during the night I wake up not feeling quite as crappy as I did with my last mattress. I didn't want to immediately throw out my spring mattress just to be safe, but after about 4 days I was ready to take it to the trash. The Casper is here to stay, and I'm so in love with it. I think Casper is the OG memory foam bed brand for a reason. Thank you, Casper.

Definitely recommend having another mattress to compare it with - I had no idea how uncomfortable the Casper was until I went back to another mattress. Unfortunately I didn’t make this discovery until I was just outside of the 100 day window or I would have returned it (and the pillows, which are enormous).

Mattress slept great for first year. Then all of the sudden I started experiencing tension in my shoulder blades and upper back. Seems like the mattress firmed up over time and became less supportive. I would not recommend.
