Casper is extremely easy to unpack and install. I have two mattresses a California king and a twin. even the California King was easy. Open the box use the provided tool to cut away the packaging and unfold the mattress and put it in place on the bed and let it sit for a few hours to completely open up. then put sheets and blankets on it. with the twin I ordered a Casper base as well and it was easy to install required no tools and the whole bed was unpacked and ready to go in under 20 minutes. As for how it feels and how it sleeps. Give your body a week to adjust to the mattress type. it is far different than traditional spring mattresses. We had a 3" pillow top on our spring California King mattress and it still took about a week for my body to adjust to the way it sleeps on a Casper. You will be sore your first 3-7 days. but after that you will sleep like anew born baby and anytime you have to sleep on any other mattress type you will be greatly missing your Casper. I will never own any other brand of mattress. Also this was just the standard Casper product offering. We did not think the mattresses were hot and did not require any type of cooling layer.

The piping on the covering had shifted some 5 inches on the side I use to get into and out of bed. This shouldn’t be happening, should it? It is 30 days old.

Best Mattress Ever

This was the best purchase of the essential mattress we have ever made. We have had such a nice, restful sleep for the last three weeks that one can just imagine. I am glad we switched to this mattress and it's worth the money. We would definitely recommend this mattress.

Not as advertised

Not as advertised. This doesn't seem to be a California King, in fact I don't know what it is? It took us a while, 2 weeks, to open the package as I was custom making bed rails/frame. After letting the mattress set on the frame for a week thinking maybe it takes a long time to fully inflate I still have several inches of open space.The mattress measures 72" x 81", definitely not what I ordered but my wife is insisting she is not going to sleep on the floor while we wait a couple weeks or more for another one.

Getting the mattress out of the box was simple enough. It was heavy but I managed alone. We went from a traditional spring mattress to the Casper. It's been four weeks. I don't notice a difference in comfort or sleep, unfortunately. My wife likes it so that makes it worth the money I guess.
