We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the mattress and there was no smell. We'd read numerous reviews, some saying they had to wait a couple of weeks for their mattress to air out before they could use it. No problem here with the Casper.
Our previous mattress was very firm as well, but this one was harder. After a couple of nights we put a 2" mattress topper pad on it and that was the solution. Additionally, I thought I wanted a new mattress because I wanted one with a higher stabilization rate. This one was rated the highest (4), but as it turns out, it wasn't the old mattress's fault that I could feel my husband rolling over in bed or sitting on the edge. It was the box springs. We put the new Casper mattress on the box springs and we got the same result. I guess the next step is to buy a platform and get rid of the box springs, but the platform is more expensive than the mattress!

I was optimistic about trying the Casper. I had read several reviews that seemed credible so I figured I would give it a try. Plus fact that I could bypass the mattress store was enticing. Fortunately, I love this mattress. It is very comfortable and I’m sleeping well. Why did it take this long to find great mattresses this way?

I look forward to getting into bed, and I am surprised that I sleep so well. It was a big decision for me to chose a mattress when there are so many out there. I was fortunate enough to be able to go to the Casper store and try out the beds. Wow! What an experience. That plus reading the Consumer Reports mattress review convinced me to buy the bed and I am still glad I did. In fact, I bought a second bed for my son and daughter-in-law. They love theirs too.

I know that doesn't make sense, but that was the experience. It felt as if there was cotton between that and the firm part of the mattress. I go to sleep much easier now. I am very satisfied with this purchase!

Way to soft for as thin as the matress is. I havent slept well since i got the mattress. Always tossing and turning and would wake up with back pains, would never wish this matress even on my worst enemy. I missed the 100 trial, so it will find it ways to Sunday trash.

Unboxing of the Casper + assembly of the base was remarkably quick and easy. My family was intrigued by the “inflation” process.
The mattress is very comfortable, much better than our old spring based matters. Very stable when somenone moves - doesn’t disturb partner.
Is it hot vs. conventional mattresses ? Well, maybe warmer than non-foam. Frankly, we’re not sure if this is really the case, or if we read it so are focusing on that aspect. Maybe... This is the only thing between 4 and 5 stars for us, we just need a little more time with it.
