[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the Casper to replace an older, high-end, conventional inner-spring firm mattress with a pillow top.We were all set to buy a Sleep Number bed, but after researching mattress ratings by Consumer Reports and Sleep Like the Dead website, we thought Casper was a better choice.The Casper, which is designed to be medium-firm, actually feels more firm compared to our older mattress. I attribute that to the pillow top on the older mattress.Unfortunately the Casper feels less comfortable to us and we plan on returning it.In my opinion, Casper raises expectations to a level that the mattress cannot meet.

When I need to get out of bed at night it doesn’t disturb my wife, vise versa. This is something worth investing in to maximize rest, energy, and overall well being.

Box arrived, brought it inside and removed it from the box. Brought it to our room and placed it on our frame. Removed outer plastic and lined it to the right position and removed the inner plastic. Within seconds it began to inflate and take shape. Seemed to go pretty fast. Within about 10 minutes the bed was made and we slept on it that night. Received it about a week before Christmas and now we’re into the second week of the new year. I, myself haven’t gotten used to it, it’s pretty soft and it seems you kinda sink into it. Haven’t had a full night sleep or a sound one yet. Good quality mattress though. Heavy too for just a mattress.

The casper is like laying on a cotton ball that contours to the mold of your body. Total relaxation, definately a must buy.
