I tried a couple mattresses, including the Purple, but non of them were enjoyable. The Casper is a special mattress. Striking a unique balance of firm support that manages to cradle your body, the Casper delivers a great night of sleep. With my new found comfort I was able to focus on my own posture. Speaking of such, pair this mattress with a Capser pillow (or two)!! The pillow is soft, yet keeps your head from falling through. My nights have truly changed. Between all the great support and learning to sleep with better posture (not contorting like a child), I'm having truly enjoyable sleep. Thank you Casper.

Better than most hotel beds, but we are looking for a soft mattress that gives good support. Casper has good support but too firm. Hips and back hurt in the morning and tossing and turning. Old mattress was soft but was starting to sag.
