Great bed! I purchased the original years ago and returned it because I had a hard time adjusting to the bed, with body temperature and adjusting my body in the right position for sleeping comfortably. I was sweating or having pain in some places, but this bed is not the same, much more improved and it stays cool throughout the night. I sleep in the basement and it’s cold and the mattress is always cool even while sleeping and that’s a plus. I’m normally a side sleeper but you can sleep in any position because the bed is so comfortable you won’t feel a thing. My old spring mattress I could feel the material pushing against my body, this bed I don’t feel anything, very light and airy, but also firm enough for good support. My advice on first time buyers is to give it few days even couple weeks to adjust. I wasn’t too impressed the first night I slept, but as the days went on and I adjusted and the mattress adjusted, it got better and better and eventually I decided to just keep it because I was satisfied!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a long history of purchasing mattresses while looking for the perfect sleeping experience. I am a 6' tall male weighing about 250, my wife is a 5'4" female weighing about 135. We purchased the Casper Mattress in a King Size to replace a $3500 Sealy iComfort Mattress that was three years old. Prior to purchasing the Casper mattress we had tried a New Purple 3 Mattress that didn't suit our needs. My wife was uncomfortable in the mattress and started sleeping on the sofa. That mattress was returned and we resumed sleeping on our iComfort. A month later it was still clear that our existing mattress was beat. We were waking up with various aches and pains in our shoulders and for me my lower back. Enter the Casper. We ordered the Casper and had it in less than a week. I was skeptical. I must say that I have been very surprised and we have found a keeper! The adjustment period for us was just a couple of nights on the new mattress. I feel that it really holds us in line and supports my weight while providing a soft surface for my petite wife. I really noticed a tangible difference when I started hitting the snooze less and even not at all. I am sleeping better all around. We recently went on vacation for 10 days and I couldn't wait to get home to our Casper! My sister slept on our bed while we were away and she described the bed that it was like sleeping on a "firm cloud". She loved it. I am a Casper fan now and appreciated the 100 night trial to allow me a no pressure trial to give them a shot. Thanks Casper.

I've never had a foam mattress so it's hard to compare, but as far as I can tell--at about a month and a half in--it's a very solid mattress!No complains here!
