I was skeptical at first because of the abundance of commercials and ads I'd seen for Casper mattresses. But recently my old full size spring mattress finally became un-sleepable and of the options I had researched I went with this mattress because of the overall positive reviews and the price.
I'm giving it 5 stars because it exceeded my expectations. I initially thought I wouldn't get good sleep on a memory foam mattress, being a lifelong pillow top/spring-sleeper, and I thought I'd be returning it sooner than later. I was pleasantly surprised after the first week to have not only acclimated but gotten deeper sleep.
I think my sleep quality will only continue to improve the more I get used to it. The only negative I have is that it does seem to retain heat more than my old mattress, however I know that is characteristic of foam mattresses in general. Maybe it wasn't the best idea to get used to a warmer mattress in the summer but I'm sure I'll enjoy it in the winter.

Unboxing needed some help but was pretty easy.
My old mattress was feeling too soft, not enough support. I think it was not well made to begin with and had just broken down with the years.
The new Casper looked more substantial the minute it came out of the box. It definitely was more supportive, a little hard after years on a too soft surface. Not uncomfortable though.
I've been sleeping on it for three nights now and I've already adjusted to it and find it very comfortable.
I bought it because it had such a high rating on Consumer Reports and I am glad I did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delivery was perfect. I would have rated five stars but one of the seam welts is out of place. It is about an inch away from the corner. Very comfortable and quite expensive.

Our king size bed came right on time. My fiancé set it up by himself. It was easy. It’s much more comfortable than the mattress we got at a chain mattress store about 5 years ago. It is a good medium-firm and very supportive for my combination sleeping (back and side). We’ve already recommended this bed to our friends and family. So happy with our purchase.

Well I must admit I was somewhat skeptical even though the Casper was rated the top scoring mattress by a leading consumer magazine. It scored better than other mattress's costing as much as 3 times the Casper. And yes like others we have spent thousands over the years trying to find the right mattress. With a mattress being so subjective I mean some folks like soft and some firm. The Casper has a very dense and thick foam . It feels very supportive. I am a sleep only on my side type person and each night with our previous mattress about every 30 minutes or so I kept waking up with extreme upper arm and shoulder pain. So I would switch to the other side and the same thing. Very disruptive to my sleep. I no longer have any pain from sleeping on ,my side with the Casper so Casper gets my vote!!
