I bought this bed after sleeping on a box spring mattress my entire life. I debated long and hard over a Casper or a nectar and chose a Casper in the end. Was it the right choice? Yes, no, maybe. The pros to this bed is that it is very comfortable. Upon laying on this bed, you sink down into it up to a certain point and then it’s hard. I no longer wake up with as much back and shoulder pain as I used to. I still have stiffness in my shoulders upon waking but that could be my sleeping position. In fact, it’s so comfortable that I move maybe 2x a night while sleeping. The bad thing about that is that I wake up with my hands numb and tingling because I’ve been laying in the same position for so long. On to the cons. This bed sleeps HOT and I mean hot. I’ve never had issues with this before while on a box spring but most mornings, I wake up to no blankets cause I’ve kicked them off during the night. I have, on some nights, woken up drenched in sweat from how hot it gets. My house sits at 65 degrees all year round and I sleep in cotton pants and a T-shirt and I mean it gets HOT. There’s also no support on the edge of the bed. So if you roll around in the bed, expect to fall off the side. Also, if you purchase the mattress protector, you’ll be met with the strongest chemical smell in the world so let it air out before you put it on your mattress. Now, would I return this mattress and try a nectar instead? Some nights when I wake up drenched in sweat, I truly consider it. However, I’m happy enough with the Casper bed that I don’t want to deal with the hassle of returning it and then waiting for the nectar bed. I need a mattress for my spare bedroom so I’ll consider purchasing a nectar for that room, as it is, after all, much cheaper than a Casper bed. To wrap this review up, I am decently happy with my Casper bed.

If at least 5 inches in from the edge it’s a good sleep but if you like to be close the edge it starts to slope. Additionally I find that my the time it gets to 3am I start to overheat. Given we went from a traditional mattress to the foam I’m trying to give it at least 30 days prior to returning it. My husband likes it but wants to buy a box spring so we aren’t as close to the ground. In short we aren’t in love it’s working and that’s about it. We are in love with the space the king size bed provides.

We had been aware of the Casper mattress for a few years but we weren't sure we wanted to buy a mattress without lying down on it to get a first impression. We finally agreed that the 100 day trial and full money back guarantee made trying the mattress risk free so we decided to give it a shot. We have been pleasantly surprised. It was delivered right on time and setting it up was a simple. All you have to do is open the box, remove the rolled up mattress from its vacuum sealed plastic bag, give it a little time to straighten out, and then put it onto the beds base. The first night we actually slept on it we both agreed that the mattress was very comfortable. It is a bit softer than the firm box spring mattress that we had been using, but it still provides plenty of support. I tend to sleep on my side or my stomach, while my wife tends to sleep on her back. Both of us agree that we have been sleeping better than we have in several years. We are very satisfied with our purchase.

Since I liked the other products so much, I decided to give it a go, and overall I do like it a lot. It has a really nice balance of firmness and softness. When you lay on it, it feels really fluffy, but you don't sink so much that your back hurts. My only one wish is that it had a pillowed top to it. I think this would make it feel more like a hotel mattress. I may just add one to it to get that affect.
