It was a very easy process to unbox.
It set up easy, a lot lower down than our last mattress, which we kinda liked. I think overall we like it, but I think it may be a bit more firm than I would prefer. My husband likes it, but says the same. We are trying to make a decision on what to do.....Keep, return or upgrade to the wave.

He gave me a new bed with a Casper mattress in the last couple of weeks of pregnancy, when my low back/pelvis were aching and in pain from the extra 40 lbs I was carrying. The Casper helped to ease the pain then and now, a little over a week postpartum.

We bought a queen Casper back at the end of 2014 when they were pretty new... loved it due to the "in a box, no showroom drama" concept, and encouraged my folks to buy one last year... this year we decided to upgrade to a King - and did our revised research on which "mattress in a box" to buy as there are a lot more choices than they were back then... after a LOT of thought, we decided to stick with Casper since we'd been happy so far with how the Queen was treating us. We've been sleeping on our new King a month and have to say the subtle changes they've made since the earlier editions are all good. Super comfy, I'm a slide sleeper and hubby is a back sleeper, we're both happy. The oder some folks complain about I didn't see as an issue. Slept on it about 4 hours after we unboxed it with no problems, and the mild oder dissipated totally in about 48 hrs. I worried a bit how Casper quality would translate as they've scaled up in the past few years - so far, very happy and our Queen was doing great the entire time we used it as our primary bed - we just wanted a bigger one.

I’ve had arthritis in my back for 10 years and have dealt with constant back pain as a result. I didn’t realize how much my old mattress was contributing to my issues until I purchased the Casper. I have never slept more soundly and felt so well rested. I no longer wake up with stiffness. The only bad thing about the Casper is it makes you not want to get out of it! Anyone who wonders if a “bed in a box” is worth the risk or money, you will not regret this. My only wish is that I would have gotten it sooner.
