I used to wake up with a sort back, hips and shoulders. No more. The Casper Wave Hybrid was great from the very first night. When I get out of bed in the morning I feel like I did 20 years ago.

Firm but comfy!

After 25 years on my extra firm mattress, I finally found a new way of sleeping....in total comfort. The delivery and unpacking went well and left me ready to crawl into bed. I generally have a hard time sleeping on my back, but Casper has allowed me to count the sheep on the ceiling as I easily fall into dreamland. As is my custom, I usually roll on my stomach during the night. Casper cares not what position I find myself in as all are truly comfortable. As my girlfriend has two Casper beds at her home, I'm now never far from a good night sleep.

Good, not perfect.

I am big at well over 6 foot and about 230 pounds and I sleep on my side. I previously had an innerspring mattress and chose this based on ratings since I couldn't try one in a store. Most foam mattresses I tried in a store were solid feeling and didn't have any "bounce" or feel of movement from other parts of the bed. The Casper had a bit more bounce than I expected. I think I prefer it that way. It was also a bit more firm that I expected and I think I would prefer one a bit softer. The biggest problem with the mattress was that it stinks. It literally stinks. The smell has not yet completely gone away after about six weeks of use. I tried airing it out and even using Febreze to reduce the smell and those helped but the problem is not yet completely gone. Also, when I unpackaged it, it of course sprang into the desired shape but the corners of the mattress remained slightly curled up for a very long time. It is mostly flat now. It is more comfortable to sleep on than my old bed but that one was worn out and was the reason I was getting a new one. Reports indicated a foam mattress might be hot to sleep on. Happily, I have not experienced that. Overall, I'm generally happy but it would be better if a bit softer and less smell.
