That sinking feeling… (in a good way, at least for some).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a great mattress. When you first sit on it, you’ll sink down and think ‘oh, this is way too soft’, but when you lie on it, you realize that there is a firm support beneath that layer of softness. But I shall be honest - each morning, my hips and lower back ache more than they did the night before. I’ve used many mattresses over the years, and this says to me that this isn’t the mattress for me - it IS for my partner, so there’s going to be some conflict there! But I would prefer something a little firmer. We’re two months into a 3-month trial (the 100-day trial is very comforting!) so we’ll see… we also bought the bed base and foundation, which we’ll keep as they are excellent (and the mattress IS excellent - I’m just a firm mattress guy, and this is just a little too soft for me). But if you like a mattress that you sink a little way in before the firmness takes hold, this is the mattress for you. It’s now time for me to figure out what to do - I am a fan of the Casper experience, even if I’m not convinced that this mattress is for me, so I shall be sad if in a few weeks I decide this isn’t the mattress for me. As background, my mattresses have always been the firmest I could find in the shop… so I’m probably on the extreme end of things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it came time to replace the spring mattress my cousin suggested a Casper. I was skeptical of anything "foam" fearing that it would hold heat. Not true with Casper! The mattress was easy to install, has held its form, and is oh so cool. I am sold on this mattress and recommend it with 5 stars.

One of my best investments. As a nurse, I need a good night's sleep. If I am not well rested, than I'm not able to be at my best. I love my Casper mattress. After sleeping on a spring based matress most of my life, there's no comparison. I would never go back to springs!

Our old mattress was getting pretty old, and hurting both of us. We had a hard time settling on what kind of mattress to get, as he prefers a firm, and I just want to not hurt in my lower back anymore, and too firm of a mattress hurts me. So we decided to try the Casper. We're at about a month of sleeping on it, and we love it. He's sleeping better, and so am I. I'm not waking up in as much pain as before and that's a huge improvement in my book.
