Initial one two years mattress was fine. But after that, started feeling as if I am sleeping on a slope. My wife has same experience. We wake up tired. When we sleep on other than Casper mattress we sleep better.

I really wanted to love my Casper mattress, but the actual mattress did not live up to the hype. I transitioned from a pillow top mattress to a Casper, and ultimately, the pillow top was immensely more comfortable. After the first night on the Casper, I woke up with multiple aches and pains. They did not get better as the weeks went on. The transition to the mattress brought on hip flexor pain that I still haven't been able to get rid of, even three years after my original mattress purpose. I ultimately bought a memory foam topper which made sleeping on this mattress tolerable. I love Casper's business model, but I cannot recommend this product.

Comfortable yet supportive for a petite person... but why 12 inches?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the Casper after much online research and comparisons. I've had a weak lower back for over a decade after an injury and while most other mattresses would result in me waking up with a sore back, it hasn't happened since using the Casper. It seems to work for me in all sleeping positions as well, which hasn't been the case with other mattresses. My only issue is that the mattress is 12 inches. I ordered it after testing out the same mattress at a friend's place which was 10 inches, presumably an older version. Then ordered mine and discovered that mine was considerably higher. Was a huge disappointment since I wanted it in 10 inches for my old dog's benefit. She can't jump the extra 2 inches now and I'm heartbroken! I don't particularly see much benefit of the extra two layers of foam either as the older model felt absolutely divine. The Casper is however a vast improvement on the other mattresses I have tried. So unless they're planning to give me the same mattress in 10 inches, I'll just have to get used to lifting my ageing pup up and down the bed, and pray the mattress continues to be kind to my back.

You have to try it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was nervous. A bed in a box?!? We ordered the frame, foundation, and bed. Couldn’t be happier! Easy transition from traditional bed. Best of all my husband and our 3 small dogs all fit comfortably in our California King. I love that I can’t fill them move or change positions through out the night. I highly recommend.
