Lousy sleeping

After months the mattress has a strong chemical odor

We purchased a queen size standard Casper mattress. We've had the mattress under one year but over the 100 day trial, so we are stuck with it. Unfortunately, the mattress continues to off-gas a "chemical" odor that permeates into the bedding, pajamas, and the air in the bedroom. The odor is nauseating. If the bedroom door is closed while sleeping, by morning, the entire bedroom smells of chemicals. We run a fan in the bedroom daily to blow over the mattress and out the door, but this won't resolve the smell. Multiple times, we've stripped the bed and tried running a fan over the mattress to try and clear the smell. Unfortunately, the smell continues to be a problem. Strangely, we have another Casper king size mattress and don't have this issue.

The Worst Mattress EVER :(

After waiting two weeks after its expected arrival, I found the mattress dumped on my porch only protected by a plastic cover. I bit the bullet as I had saved money for this, and I needed a mattress. When I went to bed, I heard a noise. It was a cockroach! It could have been from my house but I haven't seen one in a great while. I slept on the floor and I gave it to a friend as a prank gift. Maybe he'll find some unwanted guests the next time he sleeps. I will never buy a Casper mattress again! (Unless it's for a prank.)
