It’s so good!

I upgraded from an old full size mattress to a Casper king original hybrid mattress, and I am absolutely in love! It’s so comfortable! Not too firm and not too soft, just perfect!

My boyfriend wanted a firmer mattress and he's really enjoying The Original. I typically like a softer mattress but adjusted only in a few days to this mattress. I'd recommend.

Too firm

Arrived in great condition. Impressed with overall quality but it was sadly far to firm for my petite frame (side sleeper, 5’2, 135lbs). After watching multiple recent mattress review sources, I thought the bed also had 4 layers of foam. Sad to find that this was not the case for the original.

Casper Original Mattress Review

My Casper Original mattress lasted less than four years - not satisfied at all. It went completely limp, to the point of almost collapsing, every time we slept near the edge of the bed, or tried to get in/out of bed. Not good. Never had a mattress lose support so quickly. Why would I want another one as a replacement? Not happy....

Overall disappointed after 2 yrs

This is our second memory foam mattress. We decided to keep the Casper after the trial period. It is a firmer mattress to begin with. Seems like it’s made with good material. It has been around 2 years now and my husband and I have the same issue with this mattress. It is too firm. If u sleep on your side your shoulders become sore. It’s very stiff now no matter the position. I have lower back and hip pain from lack of support. Very stiff in the a.m. I believe it doesn’t hold up over time breaking down and not supportive but yet still firm. I can tell the difference from the very center of the bed and the sides where we sleep. The center is like new. Firm and supportive. It didn’t hold up. We thought about the topper to try but it’s pricey. Overall, disappointed.

It’s on the firm side but very comfortable. I’m very impressed with it. Definitely sleeps better then conventional mattresses. Highly recommend.

Don’t waste your money

I’m 6’1”, 200 lbs and when I lay on my casper matress my hips sink all the way down and touch the foundation. I wake up every day with lower back pain because of it. It was comfortable at first but lost all support after about a year. I’ve had mine for 2 years now and every morning i wake up in pain wishing I got a better sleep. My girlfriend dislikes it too and says the same things. I will never buy a matress online again.

Bummed

We have an older version of the original in our guest room that everyone seems to love. With my husbands herniated disks, he's taken to sleeping on it more often than I'd like. I thought I'd solve the problem by replacing our mattress with another original but apparently this newer model is different, more plush, and overall softer than our old one. So, my husband is back to the guest room. :-/
