Purchased this mattress a little over 5 years ago. It was great for the first few years. It was comfortable and I didn't wake up sweating in the middle of the night. However, over time, the foam in the mattress has started to soften up and the mattress was kept on a bed frame for the years I've had it. I'm not a large person, 5'6 - 130lb, but when I lay on the bed, I can feel myself sink in a bit. It now causes daily back pains when sleeping. I have expected the mattress to last at least 10 years before the materials start to break down.
This mattress feels wonderful when you lay down on it. It seems like it's going to be too soft but yet it is still firm and supportive. I hope it will hold up over time. It seems to be very well made. So far I am very happy with this mattress.
Initially, I found the mattress to be an adjustment to get used to, but when I say this mattress feels like a giant marshmallow, it really is. I also have the pillow with the mattress and at first, my neck felt weird, but my body is used to the softness of both items. Definitely worth the investment.
This has been the worst pillow I've ever had. I've tried to give it the benefit of a few months, but it's caused me nothing but sleepless nights and neck pain. I was hopeful that it was everything it was hyped up to be, but now I won't even consider a Casper mattress for fear of a similar experience.
We've had our Wave about 2 years now and it's so uncomfortable I've been sleeping on the couch. Both my boyfriend and I are side sleepers and we wake up every day with aches and pains, serious stiffness, and headaches. We toss and turn every night and if I don't it's even worse. When we first got it I was indifferent as our previous mattress was a traditional spring mattress, but with all the goods this was 4X the price and total garbage. He's not quite as disappointed with it, but his back is completely jacked way too often. I read tons of reviews before choosing this mattress over a purple or tempur-pedic, as well as checking it out in store. It's firm, but not supportive somehow. We are now shopping for something new. Such a disappointment.
I have been a very restless sleeper for years, without taking Ambien I was lucky to get 3 hours sleep a night. After 2 weeks on our new mattress I realized I was sleeping through the night night, stopped the Ambien a week ago! Feeling great! The only thing that hat I had to get used to was the sides are soft, little different if your used to sleeping on edge.
