Mattress paired with mattress protector is many many years of comfort ahead. Bought these for our boys as we have a 6 year old Casper mattress still just as new as day one.

unbelievable petroleum smell...why?

the quality is good but the smell was unbelievable ( petroleum smell ) for a week. we bought a cover and encased it but there is a lingering smell. was going to give 3 but now will change to 2.

This review comes after 6 months of use and abuse. After 33 years of sleeping on other mattresses I probably have a pretty good expertise in the matter. I bought the original mattress and Casper’s foundation for a kind bed and it has been nothing short of amazing. My sleep quality is fantastic, and transfer of movement is nonexistent. My girlfriend does not feel me toss and turn after a night of rich food and lots of booze. I wake up feeling refreshed just about every day and when I don’t it’s not the mattresses fault. It feels firm/soft. The support is amazing and comforting. It’s not like sleeping on a cloud, but like sleeping on a smart surface that reminds you it’s got you back every time you role over. I use several different kinds of sheets in rotation and the mattress is always a comfortable temperature whether the fabric is jersey cotton or a high thread count bed sheet set. If you are looking for a mattress with great support that isn’t too firm or too soft, great temperature control, and doesn’t transfer energy during movement you cannot go wrong here.

Very disappointed in this mattress after 18 months

This mattress was pretty good for my wife and I when we got it but after using it for 18 months we now both wake up very uncomfortable with aches and pain in our neck, back, and hips. We are both fit and active individuals. We have tried rotating the mattress but it hasnt helped. I am now buying a mattress topper in hopes to get relief. We will probably not be buying a casper mattress in the future.

Decent Mattress But Doesn't Live Up to the Hype

I'm guessing most the reviews for this mattress are fake or paid for because this mattress doesn't come close to living up to the hype. It's a decent mattress and don't have any huge complaints, but definitely better out there. Feels cheaper than other mattresses at the same price point and not as comfortable. I find it really stiff, and much stiffer than I expected based on the "reviews" that are posted...
