It's pretty cool that you can just carry the mattress upstairs (with two very strong individuals) and watch it expand as you cut the plastic off. And if you sleep on your back, it's comfortable to lay on. However, I am a side sleeper and almost every night, I wake up and my arm has gone to sleep. This never happened on my old latex mattress. I'm really not impressed and wish we had gone with something else.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m having a hard time adapting to my Casper. It’s way too soft for me and I’m waking up with a terrible back pain.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has a very consistent feel throughout your body. There are no pressure points. The mattress is firm enough that it gives good support for your back and posture, while at the same time allowing your body to sink comfortably into a deep sleep.
Best nights of sleep ever. When ever I travel and sleep of a foreign bed, I miss my Casper the most. If I could, I'd pack up my Casper and take it with me.
New to foam? Try Casper first; it will be your favorite anyway!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m new to foam mattresses and tried a different brand before trying the Casper. I had one more brand I was going to try after the Casper, but why bother? This mattress is just what I need for a fantastic night of sleep!

Began great, but 7 months later...

We ordered a King Casper in the fall of 2017. It arrived in a timely manner, no hassle or fuss. The price was no different than similar mattresses in stores. I love the idea of ordering online and having it shipped. When the items arrived, the boxes were huge (as we also ordered the foundation and rails). The railing boxes were a bit damaged and the rails themselves scuffed and one corner bent, but nothing which anyone could see once put together so I don't care about that as long as it functioned.
The mattress was incredibly comfortable for the first few months. For context, I'm married and my spouse and I share the bed, sleeping on the same side of the bed. I weigh about 155 lbs.
I noticed the foundation/slats system would often dislodge right beneath where I lay, so i often have to lift the bed up and adjust them.
The main issue has become the side I sleep on. When I lie down, the bed immediately sinks rather than staying firm like it did when brand new. It's almost as if the foam of the mattress is already beginning to sag in. I'm not a big person, so I don't understand why this is occurring, but this is the first foam mattress I've ever owned so perhaps this is a feature of "conforming."
Whatever the case, my back kills me at night now and I don't sleep too well and in the morning I'm stiff and sore. Either the mattress is degrading too quickly or I simply need a firmer mattress that Casper doesn't provide.
