Like sleeping on a brick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned the mattress for just over a month now and it is way to uncomfortable for this side sleeping 58 yr old body. Almost like sleeping on a brick at times. I also sleep with my wife and every little movement transmits through the bed to me. Quite annoying actually. I am pretty sure I will be sending this one back as it is most certainly not a good solution to my needs.
This mattress is comparable to burnt toast. It’s so uncomfortable, my body doesn’t sink in at all. I just sit on top. Like oil in water. I missed my window to send it back and I’m very sad bc this was so expensive and majorly disappointing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all the ease of moving this mattress into the upper level of a 1910 farm house was great for a king size bed, you would have to fold the mattress in half to clear the doorway otherwise.
I have found that this is the first mattress that I can sleep on my back and I have never been able to do that I typically sleep on my side
The only problem is my golden retriever wants to be a bed hog now
I've been sleeping on the Casper for nearly a week now. I wake up several times a night with back pain. If I sleep on my side my arm goes numb and my shoulder starts to hurt forcing me onto my back. Every morning when I get out of bed my lower back hurts and the muscles between my shoulder blades feel pinched and have a sharp pain in them. I cannot recommend this mattress to anyone.
Unboxing was really fun! I was really excited to get the new bed and even purchased a new frame (non-Casper) and the Casper mattress cover. The mattress was left to air out for about 5 hours before we slept on it, and because I ordered the cover a week later, it also had extra time to do its thing. Initially I felt the mattress was a huge improvement over my previous memory foam mattress. After I put the cover on though I feel like it has become a rock slab. I haven't slept well in weeks. The cover wasn't super restricting or tight on the edges so I'm not sure what the deal is. Last night I tried to pull up the edges of the cover to see if it loosened the tension. The mattress still feels really hard. Now I'm thinking the mattress is just way more firm than I originally thought and my body doesn't like it. I'm 5'4 and 120 lbs for reference.
