The Casper king-size original mattress was our fourth attempt to find an acceptable replacement mattress for our seven-year-old memory foam mattress. Two of the previous mattresses we ordered were too soft, one too firm. The Casper was just right. Having said that, it isn't exactly what we expected. While it has memory foam, it does not have a traditional memory foam feel. Why? Because the memory foam is sandwiched between two layers of standard polyurethane foam. It has a more bouncy feel and is easier to move around on than our previous mattress. It is also better for intimate moments. I didn't give it five stars because the cover was stained in two places. It appeared that a foreign substance was on the mattress when it was folded and shrink-wrapped, leaving two stains. When notified, Casper promptly provided a replacement cover (the cover has a zipper all the way around on the bottom) and offered to replace the entire mattress if we wanted a new one. That was unnecessary because the stain did not penetrate through the cover.

Not what I expected

Good beds, shipping is a disaster

Mattress is great but shipping is a disaster. Received my products separately and in a non logical order. Expected all products to arrive by shipping date posted at purchase or else I would have bought my mattress elsewhere. Sent items one by one and started with mattress cover, base and then mattress. Took about 2-3 weeks in total.

A WAVE new world. WAVE hybrid mattress.

Love my new Wave Hybrid with Snow Technology. Keeps me cool all through the night and I am so glad Casper came out with this technology because t”I am a hot sleeper. Needed a mattress that would be perfect foot both my needs and my wife. Found it!! Couldn’t have done it without Christian J., Store manager at Pasadena who gave me a full experience and walked me through every mattress along with the information to help me buy the perfect mattress that has given me a better night sleep and major points with my wife!! I started dreaming again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bed arrived and upon opening I thought it seemed a bit soft. Over the last few weeks as my body has adjusted I have slept longer and had less restless nights. I also thought I had stopped dreaming because I hadn’t had a dream in a few years but I am dreaming again. Don’t understand why I would assume I’m getting a more restful sleep. In hindsight I would have leveled up to the hybrid just for more support as I am a heavier sleeper but the quality and comfort are great. I only gave four stars because although the mattress is accommodating my weight Casper should recommend their hybrid for anyone over 250lbs that likes firm.
