Be aware: New Original different than the original Original

We needed a new bed for our guest bedroom. Because we loved our Casper Original mattresses so much we decided to buy ourselves new ones and relegate ours to the guestroom. We bought the Casper king platform bed and headboard (easy to put together, sturdy, and minimalist - love it!) and 2 twin xl original mattresses, instead of one king. While the mattresses look the same as the old ones (not really old - only a year old) they definitely feel different. Way, way more squishy / less firm and supportive. Maybe it wouldn't be so bothersome if we didn't know from experience how good our original Originals were. We even tried putting the new mattresses in the guestroom and the old ones in our room, but they are regular twin, not xl, so they look ridiculously short on the new king bedframe.
Not sure if this squishier Original is something Casper did on purpose or if it is due to a materials change or a new manufacturer or just a quality control issue, but the original Original is great mattress, the new Original is just ok.

Casper to the Rescue

I have spent the past several years with many sleepless nights and waking up to shoulder and neck pain. It has been a struggle to find a mattress with so many types of mattresses. I shied away from reveiws from "independent sources" and went to my trusted Consumer Reports. I had considered Casper and was zeroing in on a purchase and my daughter made suggestions about other brands with great big inclusive deals. My direction was turned to another brand which I ordered. FedEx delivered this purchase to someone who signed for it and is unknown by me. I managed to get my refund and immediately made my Casper purchase. It arrived quickly with no misdelivery drama and setup was easy and quick. I have been sleeping like a baby and no neck and shoulder pain. I truly love sleeping on Casper.

Great sleeping mattress

You know that feeling when you’ve had a great night sleep and you look in the mirror and you are in disbelief that you have absolutely no under eye bags in sight. Well that’s how I feel with my Casper. Every. Single. Morning. I love it! It’s very comfortable and will definitely maintain my good posture for the rest of my life. Casper supporter till I die ;)
