Sleeping on my Casper mattress is like sleeping on a firm cloud. I can not express how much I love this mattress. My Casper replaced a spring mattress I had for 10 years! My only regret is that I did not replace it sooner!
I have a 2 year old Boston Terrier who liked my Casper a little too much, so I bought him his own Casper bed which he enjoys!

The *new* & *improved* mattress is a disaster!

Casper! What happened...We loved the v1.0 mattress that you had. We referred no less than 10 people over the course of the past two years because it was the perfect mattress. Then you had to *improve* - everything is a let down in this new mattress. We were so confident that this mattress would be even better...big mistake!
The smells - it is disgusting and has stayed for over ten days now.
The firmness - Look, we have the original Casper and the new one...and there is no comparison. How could you guys get it so wrong? The original Casper has a nice bounce, is the right firm and is a joy to sleep on. The new one is, soft, smelly, zero bounce and frankly feels like its made from poor quality stuff. We tried it with a base, without a base, on the floor...and its equally bad in all cases. If you have the numbers, I'd love to know what the density difference between the new and the old mattress is...its so noticably

The mattress is wonderful. I have chronic lower back pain and the first night I slept on the Casper, I woke rejuvenated. I feel weightless on the mattress and look forward to going to bed each night...but not so much waking up.
The only downside, was the packaging looked odd. It seems I may have gotten a returned mattress? Every other example I have seen, the mattress comes in a clean, slick, well designed package. While the box was fine, the wrapper was...un-elegant? the edges of the plastic were uneven, it looked as though the mattress had been forcibly re-packed into a new box. I don't know. Maybe that's how they all come. It was anticlimactic upon opening the box...but sleeping on the mattress...totally made up for any initial disappointment. Can't thank you enough!!!

Did not enjoy the unboxing experience, too heavy and hard to push around without handles. Sags to much in the center and hard to get out of. My other mattress was thicker or taller(?) Probably would not recommend this mattress to my friends.
