It was difficult for my husband & me to physically pull the mattress from the box. Once we had it out of the box, tho, it was simple to slide it around on the base. Then we just had to be very careful cutting the bag from the mattress as it started to grow & grow! Very pleasantly surprised with the pillows. They are very different than the pillows we were using. We woke up pain free! We can't claim that every morning, but we would recommend it to our friends.
Honestly I am not sure I love it yet. I'm waiting a bit longer to see if maybe I change to the firmer option or return it altogether. I wake up a little stiff so I'm going to change my pillow and see if that helps otherwise I may have to look for something else. I had very high hopes for Casper hopefully it works out.
Unlike some reviewers, as a side sleeper, I have found this mattress very comfortable. The sleep surface is consistently comfortable, i.e., sides of bed and middle. To deal with the odor issue, I let the mattress air 24 hours before putting on any linens. If I think about it, I can still detect some lingering odor, but I expect with a little more time, that will go away. I used the White Glove service for unpacking and set up. Courteous and professional team.
Was surprised at how easy it was to assemble and how comfortable it was. Boxes are heavy, but once you get them opened they are not heavy at all. Fell asleep quickly and am staying asleep without a lot of tossing and turning. found out that the twin xl will fit in my semi, so will be getting it for the truck soon.
I love my Casper so much that I never want to get out of bed—in fact, I’m writing this review while laying in bed! I have referred Casper to 3 friends and they all agree that they have been getting the best nights sleep ever. There are no pressure points so you don’t get out of bed having any pains or needing to take a few steps just to get going.
OK, this is a tough one for me. At this point I love the mattress, but it did take some getting use to. Personally for me it took a couple of weeks and buying a mattress pad with a 1" pillow top helped. The mattress is a bit firm for me. I almost bought The Wave mattress just for the hypersensitive top layer, but it wasn't worth paying double the price just for that. I wish that would have been an option for The Casper without all the extra support built into like The Wave. It's been a couple of months and I have no regrets buying this mattress.
