Mattresses are something we only think about every 5-10 years. And honestly I don’t want to think about it more often than that….they should be comfortable and reliable (no manufacturing defects, etc). And that’s what I got with my Casper mattress.

When the time came to replace my Tempurpedic, I didn’t hesitate to order a Casper.
So far I am in love with this mattress and there’s no question I would recommend it.

The mattress came very quickly. It was easy to set up, it inflated itself. It is on the softer side but supportive. No joint pains since I’ve been using it. This is already my second mattress from Casper and I’m very satisfied.

I feel like I've literally been hit by a train in the morning

I've had this mattress for about 4 years, and within the last year I've woken up every single morning with absolutely terrible back pain throughout my entire lower and upper back. I've never had this issue before. I think it's the memory foam — it's too soft or doesn't offer enough support. The way it sinks and makes a curved surface really messes with muscles and bones. I've tried removing the foundation of the bed and putting the mattress directly on the floor for more support, but it hasn't made any difference. I literally feel like I've been hit by a train in the morning, and it's difficult to even roll over or stand up.
I am extremely disappointed that I spent so much on something that caused me health issues. Waking up one day with back pain is fine, but as it stacks up daily over the course of a year it literally makes you go mad. I wake up throughout the night in pain, and I'm not getting deep sleep. Luckily the pain goes away within 30-45 min of waking up and moving around, but it reloads each night when I lay on this mattress.
I'm forced to get a a new bed very soon, but I've been holding off because I spent so much to obtain this one. I get why they call them Casper now, because it slowly kills you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since the first night with my new king original mattress it’s been amazing! It is super comfortable and I wake up feeling well rested finally. My precious mattress was way too firm so I bought a topper and then it was way too soft. I couldn’t even sit up in it cuz I just sunk, but this one has been perfect

I gave this bed some actual time for my body to adjust to it. And my hopes were crushed. Definitely made my back hurt even more than my previous bed. Such a shame. I really wanted to like this bed and I gave it an honest chance.
