The Casper Mattress arrived in a huge bulging box that was very heavy. I did heed the warning to unbox in the room it was to be used. With help, we got the thing unboxed and unwrapped and placed it on top of older 'boxsprings'. It puffed up instantly and was ready to use within minutes.
Compared to a really old thin mattress, the Casper was truly awesome. Just the right amount of firmness and support in all the right places. I had been having trouble sleeping at night because of lower back and leg pain (sciatica). With this mattress, I am sleeping much better all through the night. I can easily find a good position with less movement. I have had the mattress about three weeks now and I can honestly say that my back and leg pains are less frequent throughout the day. I am really glad I got this mattress and I recommend it to anyone who wants to update an old mattress with a very modern structural design.

Unboxing the bed was cumbersome. We elected too set up the bed ourselves as we didn't want to wait for company set up. We transported the mattress and supports home in our SUV. We bought a king mattress and it was heavy getting it up the stairs. My husband and I are both over 70 and couldn't navigate the box up the stairs independently but we used a hand truck that we have. Getting the mattress out of the box was a little challenging. We are both in pretty good shape and are tall. I think most other folks in our age range would not have been able to get the bed set up themselves.
That said, I would definitely recommend his bed to other people. It is very different from a traditional mattress but it is comfortable. We are both able to sleep on our backs now which we could not do with our other mattress.

Easiest mattress I ever bought

After a month of doing exercises and sleeping on my new Casper model mattress, I am back to 100%. In addition, I no longer wake up with pain of pressure points on my hips and shoulders. Casper makes it very easy to order not to mention it’s really fun to watch the mattress expand when you unwrap it. Don’t hesitate to try this company.

Pure nighttime comfort

We are sleeping well in our new King Casper. It is a little firm but an inexpensive topper applied made it absolutely perfect for our older shoulders. Lots of room - easy to set up.
Two minor issues 1) when it was delivered the mattress box had basically exploded making it very difficult to get inside. 2) the king frame we bought is slightly bent but we able to make it work.
