On my second week, comfortable. However, the off-gassing is unbearable. I've been airing it out while sleeping on the sofa. Will give it two or three more days....

The Casper Nova HS King Mattress is smaller than standard king size and the Repose bed frame sits too low to the ground. Bad combination

I bought the Casper King size Wave Hybrid Snow Mattress and the Repose Bed Frame with headboard and Casper Sheets. I do not recommend the Repose bed frame as it sits too low to the ground and Casper does not have leg lifts for it.
The Casper King Size mattress I purchased measures 74 1/2” width and 77 1/2“ length (my husband and I measured it a few times) which is smaller than the standard size for king bed of 76x80. With the Casper platform Repose very Low bed frame and the Casper small king mattress the Casper King Size flat sheets are too big. The sheets overflow to the floor. Difficult to make the bed as it is hard to tuck all that extra sheet under the mattress. It may seem like a small thing but having a very low bed, smaller mattress and oversized sheets is disappointing and simply frustrating. Since I bought the expensive Casper complete set, platform bed frame, mattress and sheets I thought I would have a perfect bed set up. But I was wrong.

Not as good as I hoped

I'd say I spent a fair amount of time researching mattresses before we purchased this one. I had hoped it would offer a bit more comfort to me as a side sleeper. Our previous memory foam bed was Bed-In-A-Box, which seemed to sink too much causing some back pain.
After a little over a year of owning the Casper Original, I can't say that it's a whole lot better. I feel less back pain now but definitely more shoulder pain as I sleep on my side. Apparently that sort of pain is common with side sleepers, so perhaps the Casper is just a little too firm. I'd say if you're a side sleeper, look at possibly a softer mattress.
Unboxing the Casper was easy enough. But I have to say that the smell bothered me a lot more than I anticipated. It took a while for the chemical smell to go away, and even a year later I vaguely remember it.
Overall I'm not sure I personally think it's worth the price listed on the site. Perhaps we should have physically tried some different mattresses before settling on this one.

After over a year of use the King mattress does not meet Casper standard

I've submitted a case a few months ago and have not heard back from Casper. After being a loyal Casper customer on may products (queen original, pillow, bedding, etc.), it is realized that not all products are the same. Given my past experience, without hesitation I bought the King mattress after moving from NYC to CA. In summary, the King bed is extremely soft, and doesn't feel evenly distributed across the entire surface area of the bed. When my partner moves, it is easily felt on my side and vice versa. I am well past the 100 day window, and have not heard back on any options we can do going forward.

I love my Original Queen Casper mattress! Delivery was right on time, it arrived Christmas Eve so I was able to get the best sleep ever on Christmas Day!! My back pain that I previously had has gotten so much better! I am relieved when I lay down at night and all aches subside.
