Little softer than I had before. I’m used to sleep on firm foam mattress.When having lower back problems, this mattress is not recommended.My son bought it and love it only that he has no back problems. So, heDoesn’t know the difference.Kind of stuck with this mattress for now, not so happy.Do we have to turn the mattress every 3 months?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had lower back pain for at least half of the years I’ve been alive. Including shoulder pains since I tend to rollover from side to side. They say it can take a week or two to adjust to the new mattress. I slept the best on night one and 3 weeks later, I still don’t have back pain and my shoulders don’t hurt as much when I’ve rolled over on them. There’s no going back to a regular mattress for me. I’m set for life!

The unboxing was easy. The mattress is a little firmer than I expected, but is confortable and will probably soften a little over time. I have already recommended Casper to a couple friends- definitely worthwhile.

I found the setup to be easy and straightforward. I am a big guy (6' 2", 220lb) so I was skeptical that this could support me efficiently. I was right. When sleeping on my side I had too much pressure on my shoulders. When I slept on my back I didn't have enough lower back support. Unfortunately this was not for me. However, for the money I think it could be a great deal for some.
