We have a large Casper Dog Mattress in the kitchen that is very popular. We have 2 small dogs, and a Labrador that can be routinely found sharing it. FRED wanted his own for our bedroom and as soon as I put it on the floor, he jumped in it. The biggest problem we have now, is that our cat keeps sneaking in the room to take naps on it. Clearly our Casper Dog Mattress is a hit!
It is super easy to put together and very comfortable. This is a purchase you won't regret!
We had to replace the last bed after one too many trips to the beach made the foam a bit moldy and a zipper broke when trying to put it back together after cleaning it. We're going to try and be a little careful with this one and water, considering the cost. Overall, I do love the look and feel of the bed and feel of the material. Cosy doesn't seem to mind the switch either.
My major complaint is that the "bolsters" and lowered center section aren't really all that deep. The bed is mostly flat. Cosy really does love a good bolster to rest her head upon or nuzzle into. I'd love to see Casper build a dog bed that delivers on the "Take Shelter" marketing promise where the "supportive foam bolsters of the mattress create a safe space for dogs to lay their heads". Right now, that just isn't true or is a reach at best.
I'll keep it for now because it really does feel like a quality bed that will last longer than the last one did. I simply wish that I could get the last dog bed design in Casper level material quality.
When we opened the box and put the mattress together Charlie immediately picked up the waffle toy that Casper sent with his new bed and laid down and started chewing away :-) we keep his bed in our bedroom so that he now has his own Casper mattress and therefore gives mom and dad more room on their Casper mattress :-)
So far so good, she got it muddy yesterday so going to wash it tonight and see what happens. I went online and will be following your directions for cleaning and drying.
Our rescue GSD Beau loves to be cozy (wants to get in our bed or on the couch) for snooze time. We thought he needed a really comfy bed so we bought a Casper dog bed. Now when we go to bed/nap he gets in his new bed instead of getting on our bed! Could not believe it. He LOVES it. If we walk in our bedroom he goes and lays on his bed to just hang out and chomp on his ball. Very impressed with how much he loves his bed. Will be buying more for other spots in house!
Sadly, she seemed really excited when we put together and took out of the box. But we replaced her regular cheap bed with her new Casper bed and she wouldn't go near her new bed :( We have tried placing it in other places, but she prefers her older bed. She is a rescue and seems to really like her routine, so we are going to give it a little longer. We have put her toys and blanket on it and are trying a whole new location, it also seems really big for her. She is only 8 lbs, and it is much bigger than the one she has been sleeping in, so we will see. But at this point, it isn't looking quite as successful as the Casper bed that her humans got....which we LOVE!
