So our Border Collie blew out his ACL and we needed a bigger bed for him to be able to recoup on post surgery. The bed is well constructed and he seems comfortable on it. We did buy an elevated bed frame to get him off the cold floor..... spoiled rotten. We got the xL for him and he can stretch out across it without having to bend his leg. My only “complaint” is that I wish the cover were waterproof a wet dog doesn’t soak through into the mattress.... my work around was to put a waterproof mattress pad on it before I assembled the cover... I cut an old one to fit.... also wish this came in colors that hid dirt a bit better. Light blue and grey show dirt quicker... otherwise a great dog bed that hit us to switch from Llbeans ortho bed we have been fans of for years. This is a good purchase, & reasonable price IMO.

Although my pup is medium size he prefers a large bed just like humans. Tossed around a bit on the medium but slept like a baby on the large.

My dog is 12 years old and I was looking for an orthopedic dog bed. I checked out numerous beds and finally decided to go with Casper. I'm glad I did! My dog loves her bed. She can sleep on her side or curl up and there is plenty of room for her. Also, the bed is super easy to put together. Overall, I am very impressed with Casper Dog Bed and highly recommend!

Sizes are out of wack. I have a 33 lb dog and I bought the middle size after seeing the dimensions of the smallest bed. His butt still gangs over on to the floor. Not sure were you cane up with these sizes but they don't work at all for my dog. Bed it to small even thought I bought the middle size he is still to big for it.
