The cover is well made and the fabric look very durable. The foam things are not optimal for a good fit, so the the cover is baggy looking. Our dog won't even go near it, let alone lie on it, but that's not on you. Maybe in time she will check it out. Bribes haven't worked.

Pricy but totally worth it

I had my objections to buying this bed, but after researching we decided to pony up and get it. Murphy loves it so much sometimes he doesn't want to leave it even for a walk. I took some funny pictured of him snoozing in his Casper, I wish I could upload them. So if you hesitate, don't.... its sturdy, well designed, and as far as i can tell very comfortable.

Bought two Casper dog beds for both of our pups and when the cover started to fray I figured it had been a few years so that is understandable. What isn’t understandable is that a replacement cover costs more than 50% of the initial bed cost to order. I could understand up $100 but at the replacement cost I might as well spend a bit more and get a whole new bed....somewhere else.

A good change

My Lhasa is 13 years old so he was cautious of the change at first. But after a few days, he was taking longer and longer naps in the bed. I live in a very hot area so he tends to sleep on the tile and wooden floors in my apartment more often, but I can tell that the high sides and memory foam aspects of the new bed bring him comfort.

Puppy Love - Owner slightly Disappointed

My new puppy loves the new bed!!!! However, like most new puppies, he has ‘wet the bed’ a few times, thus requiring me to wash the bed. After only 2 washes, the bed has begun to pill - which quite shocked me. I bought the bed knowing this was washable and durable, however, I am beginning to worry. Just be cautious and may want to consider other options if you have a new puppy.

I read a lot of great reviews so splurged for my boy’s 7th birthday. One month in and he prefers the floor in front of it. Will get on it if I put blankets on it but never had to do that for the much lower priced store beds. Kudos to those who had better luck with this bed. Us not so much.

Bed of dreams

I have two dogs, and we received a Casper dog bed as a gift. It’s the most popular dog bed in the house (yes we have multiple dog beds). After awhile the cover pilled a little and a naturally occurring hole in the cover was made larger by my puppy. We ended up buying a second bed and also received a complimentary replacement cover for the first bed. Both pups are living the spoiled life now!
