Our one year old Labrador seems to like the bed, but the grey cover was stained very quickly and easily. Although the cover can be removed, it’s not something I want to be washing weekly. The bed is an eyesore once it is stained, so I don’t want it out when people are over unless we just washed cover. I think cover material needs to be changed and improved.

My dog is 13 years old and is definitely feeling his age lately. He used to sleep in many spots - prior dog bed, floor, couch, and my bed. He now nearly exclusively sleeps in his Casper dog mattress, even to just sit/relax without sleeping. I can confidently say my dog would say the Casper dog mattress is GREAT. It is a must have for a senior dog.

I don't normally write reviews for products, but I am so impressed by this bed that I felt I had to. We got a puppy in December 2018. He chewed through bed-after-bed-after-bed that we bought at pet stores and home stores. Finally, I Googled "Tough Dog Bed" and ran across the Casper one. It was nice-looking, which was important to me because we put it in our living room. A bit expensive, but I figured after throwing money away on multiple cheaper beds, I should try to find something that might last. This bed is totally worth the money. We've had it for 4 months now and it looks brand new. It's firmer than other dog beds, so it took our dog a little while to get used to it, but soon he was laying on it all the time. The cover is machine washable and so easy to take on and off. He has gotten it plenty dirty, and it always comes out of the dryer looking brand new. And not a single puncture from his teeth. He can't get through it, so he gave up on trying! I'd like to get one of these beds for every floor of our house. I'll never buy another dog bed again.
